THE FAI TODAY confirmed a much-anticipated move away from Umbro as official kit supplier to the Irish international teams.
As of August 2017, New Balance — suppliers to the likes of Liverpool and Celtic — will provide jerseys for both the men’s and women’s national team as well as all underage teams.
The senior men will wear the gear — which is still to be unveiled — for the first time in Tbilisi when they take on Georgia in a World Cup qualifier on 2 September.
The move ends a 23-year association with Umbro.
